Peter Wang Foundation
Peter Wang, was a victim of the mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on Valentines's day February 14, 2018.
Peter was last seen holding a door for his classmates in his JROTC uniform. Holding a door, what a small gesture for his fellow classmates. Holding a door, letting others run for their lives before his own is impossible to imagine during a shooting. This small gesture cost his life when he was shot multiple times. He was only 15 but had already put the lives of others before him.
He was awarded the highest United States Department of the Army medal - ROTC Medal for Heroism. He was also posthumously accepted West Point. 117,604 people signed petition to award Peter the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
To honor Peter's memory we have set up a scholarship to help disadvantaged students, we also make charitable donations to organizations Peter supported.
